Indie Alt Rock outfit FOUR STAR RIOT flows effortlessly between rock, new wave, soul, and R&B grooves. They’ve toured with Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Train, Lit, Living Colour, Eve6, Jimmy Eat World, among many others, and their music has been featured on TB shows like MTV’s Made and ESPN’s Baseball Tonight. Their song, “Get What U Give,” soundtracked the final scene of the 20th Century Fox film Like Mike 2 and their song, “Something So Right” landed in the smash 20th Century Fox film Deadpool. The band needed to remix their 2004 album, Tonight & Tomorrow. The original audio files were never backed up and unfortunately lost in a hard drive failure. For the instrumental remix, producer and mastering engineer Ian Vargo used AudioShake instrumental and instrument stems to bring up the bass and drums in the mix while taming the guitars.

“This is pretty amazing tech! There aren't many options out there yet for separating stereo mixes beyond just removing vocals. We tried another company and also some open-source AI code, but found the artifacting to be too much and not usable. Audioshake provided us with stems that were of noticeably higher quality and fewer artifacts.”
