The sync opportunity was a trailer for the star-studded David Russell film "Amsterdam." The song, "Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda, was a perfect backdrop to the fast-paced, action-filled comedy. However, as the song was produced in the 1970s, the publishing group Wise Music Creative faced the common challenge for music supervision: they didn’t have access to the original project files. Without stems and instrumentals, it’d be impossible to edit the dialogue of the trailer over the vocals of the master track.

Fortunately, AudioShake’s AI was able to cleanly separate the master track into its stems and provide a high-quality instrumental. Wise Music Creative was able to close the deal and provide stems for the sound editors to use in the final trailer.

“For this deal to close, we had to move swiftly and create stems of a song originally produced in the 70s. We didn’t have the original project files, but fortunately, AudioShake quickly created stems for us. It was a huge win for our team.”
